1. Generate a Cliniko API key
Generate a Cliniko API key for use within the Body Evaluation app. This key will allow Body Evaluation to connect, write, and read the data in your Cliniko system.

- Go to My Info, scroll to down to Allow yourself to create and use API keys, then click Enable API keys
- Under Manage API Keys click Add API Key (top right)

- Enter the Cliniko API key in the field provided
- Tap Verify your Cliniko connection
3. Connect a Patient to Cliniko
After Cliniko setup is complete and verified above, use the Body Evaluation app to navigate to a patient. Edit the patient in the app, search for the Cliniko record, and link them together.
- Open the Body Evaluation app and tap on a patient that cooresponds to a patient in Cliniko.
- Tap the Edit button then scroll down to the Cliniko Integration section.
- Use the Search feature to find the Cliniko patient by name.
- Select the patient to complete the link between the Body Evaluation app and Cliniko.
4. Send Patient PDF documentation to Cliniko
After your patient is linked to Cliniko you will have a new button on the list of patient encounters. The Export button will upload that encounter’s PDF documentation to the Cliniko system and automatically file it under the patient’s record.
